The shop is run on Goggle Checkout so security and ease are a definite concern for us. What I like best about this is I was able to streamline the shop so much better than the Etsy Shop.
Cool Shop Features
I was able to integrate in a variety of options, including drop down selections and write in fields.
Now I have all the Stick Figure Pagan Family Decals organized by gender and age. There is a drop down to select what type of person you want, say a Viking, and then you select the number variation. This works great for the single figures. For the bulk family sets customers will have to type in their selections but there is a field for it now. It doesn’t have to be added as a note onto the purchase.
The shop has sections just like the Etsy shop, just check out the drop down menu in the upper left corner of the Shop Gadget. If you notice the section names there are a few hints of things to come in the future.
I’m ecstatic to be able to have everything under one roof! Now I feel inspired to make more items!
By the way, anyone can add a Google Checkout Gadget to their site or blog.
At the moment it only supports a single image for item. I could code in multiple pictures to sit within the descriptions and I will do that in time. To make it look how I really want I need to do a bit of research. In the mean time the Etsy Shop is still up with it’s multiple photos.
I can’t directly link to a specific listing. All listings are under the single pages address, so if I want to link to something directly I will have to do it through Etsy still.
Newly Added are a few Halloween Themed Hair Bows! Yes the season is almost here.
Please come by and check out the new Treegold and Beegold Shop, I’d love feedback on it.
Do I need to add more instructions on things with options? I keep going back and forth on adding more to the descriptions I worry if they get too long the scrolling will become ridiculous.
